MedTex19 & IFBMTM 2019 is an international conference on biomedical textile materials with guiding theme "Biomedical & Healthcare Textiles: Challenge and Opportunity from Laboratory Bench to Hospital Bed". We are asking for the artistic beauty of biomedical textiles used in a variety of anatomical locations and biological environments, which will be displayed during the conference. Any related image is eligible for the competition. Every participant can submit no more than 3 images. Send your low-res digital images named YOUR NAME.jpeg together with your one-page short CV and a file containing a short description of each of the submitted images by e-mail to ifbmtm@dhu.edu.cn before April 12, 2019 . These should be 72ppi JPEGs between 0.5MB and 3 MB pixel dimensions (uncompressed size – equivalent to between 800 and 1000 pixels on the longest side) and no larger than 1.5 MB file size on disk (compressed size). For selected images higher resolution files will be requested after evaluation. Selected photos will be judged by all the attendees during the conference and will also be included in an on-line gallery.

Note: Copyright of entered artworks remains with the artist who agrees by submitting his/her works, to grant permission to MedTex19 & IFBMTM 2019 organizers to use the submitted material in exhibits, on their website, and other media. Your permission to display the photos cannot be reversed and its use or removal is entirely at the discretion of event organizing committee. If artists would like to have their print, they will have to pay for handling and shipping.
